Affiliate disclosure

We earn a commission if you buy through our links. It never changes what we recommend.

Amazon

bodhin.blog is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

When you follow a link from this site to Amazon and buy something, Amazon pays us a percentage of the sale. It costs you nothing extra. The commission rate varies by product category and we do not know in advance what you will buy, which is one of several reasons it makes no sense for us to steer you.

Advertising

Pages carry display advertising from third-party ad networks. Those advertisers have no input on editorial content, do not see pages before publication, and cannot buy a placement in a recommendation. Ad slots are limited to one in-article unit and one sidebar unit. We do not run popunders, interstitials, or push notifications.

What money does not buy

No brand has ever paid for a mention here, and none has been offered the chance. We accept no review samples, so there is no unit to send back and no relationship to protect. Every recommendation carries a stated downside, and several pages conclude that the right move is to buy nothing at all — which is not a thing an advertiser would ever ask for.

Prices

We deliberately never publish prices. Amazon's operating agreement only allows displaying prices retrieved live from their Product Advertising API and refreshed within 24 hours; a statically generated site cannot meet that bar, so we describe price tiers instead and let the retailer show you the real number.
